What this course will entail: Join this virtual circle to practice specialised trauma-informed postural yoga to support those navigating the effect of domestic abuse and sexual violence. This is an experiential course over 7 weeks that creates space for participants to explore, enquire and remember the body through yoga influenced movement practices. No experience of yoga is necessary.
About the facilitator: Eunice (she/her) is well-versed in facilitating yoga in therapeutic settings, having held these spaces for over 15 years. In addition to running Movement for Healing, she is a faculty member on Yogacampus, and contributes to workshops, courses and panels to discuss critical issues in contemporary yoga settings and working within trauma-informed paradigms. Eunice is also a qualified Movement Psychotherapist having trained and worked in psychiatric inpatient settings for the NHS. Whilst these sessions are not therapy sessions, her clinical training and experience very much informs some of her facilitation.
